Just because it's Sunday!
Why are hobbies important?
My infatuation with Tibetan culture started way back in 2013. It was the month of August, to be precise, 15th August, when I first landed in Little Lhasa, McLeod Ganj, the capital of the exiled government of Tibet. This has brought me close to Buddhism, and sometimes, I have followed the doctrines of Buddhism. From that moment onwards, I have visited many monasteries in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Maharashtra, UP, and Karnataka. The Tibetans in exile, I have noticed, have one thing in common: there is a smile on their face. That unique happiness tells us how one can stay happy in adversity. It's definitely not an opportunity in adversity, but happiness in adversity. Almost 13 years have passed, and I got another opportunity to rejuvenate my infatuation with Tibetan culture. It was the Kala Ghoda Art Festival held in Mumbai, where the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts showcased the folk dance from the roof of the world. This time, I tried to write stories with light. Hobbies are important to rejuvenate your spirit.
