Kolhapur Station.

I am remember of the time when I visited Kathgodam. It gives sense of deja vu. It was raining there and was raining here.  Both Kathgodam  and Kolhapur railway stations have historical importance.  British used to transport commodities from these originating station. The beauty of the station is prince of Kolhapur constructed station from his own funds. Build in 1888, the significance cannot be ignored.

It serves communting point between major cities and local people of the region.  Being the devotional destination i.e. goddess Mahalaxmi resides here, many devotees arrived here far from other places. The station named as Chatrapati Shahu Mahararaj Terminus.

Keep traveling keep rediscovering.
