Standing there last night, holding this award for HR Excellence conferred by National Institute of Personnel Management(NIPM) and MCRC, my heart was filled with deep gratitude, But more than that, I was reminded of a fundamental truth that driven each and every single step of eighteen years journey.
Human resources is not a desk job, it is a calling, it is an purpose.
it is an act of service.
Think about what we do every day. We don't just manage headcounts, we touch human lives.
When we design fair policies. when we stand up for compliance, when we build safe spaces where people can bring their authentic selves to work to attain organizations vision. We are changing destinies.
My journey has taken me across mountains, plains, deserts from remote villages, government schools, communities to rural entrepreneurs, students & communities in need and ultimately into corporate boardrooms. It has taught me something very invaluable:
Resilience is mostly not absence of Adversity, but it is courage to build bridges where others see barriers. Whatever it was -> Navigating challenges from childhood to mobilizing thousands of youth for livelihood and woman technologist for the future, I learnt that our struggle do not limit us they expand our horizons enhance of competencies.
They teach me to look not for at people not for what they lack, but for the limitless potential they carry inside them.
True leadership is about turning on the light so others can shine.
it is about building systems that leaves no one behind.
This award does not belong to me alone, it belong to every mentor who belived me.
As we look forward the future of work, let's have self commitment - not to lose our hearts.
Let's define and build workplaces not just by productivity but by dignity, courage and a relentless humanity.
Do not manage the workforce - empower them.
Do not adapt to the future - inspire it.
Thank you very much for the incredible honor.
