Well said, Swami!
Not well said today, Swami!
I have been following Swaminathan Anklesaria Aiyar since 2008. He is amazing at articulating ideas and brings great wisdom to his articles. Today’s article, however, feels polemical and slightly lacking in neutrality.
Technology that is relevant today will be outdated tomorrow. Coal engines were replaced by diesel engines, and diesel engines were replaced by electric. That’s how evolution works. Tomorrow, there may be hydrogen technology. That doesn’t mean we should wait for hydrogen while continuing to use coal in the meantime.
Every technology is part of innovation and goes through several rounds of iteration. A few months ago, Swami suggested that India should use environmental pollution to make fertilizer. This would help reduce BoP issues and the government’s burden on subsidies.
Today’s article feels more or less politically imbalanced.
Not so good Read from today's Times of India.
