Hi,

Wanna Ghajini look…

Now the learning lesson from Perfectionist Man from Bollywood nothing but One and only Aamir khan. His upcoming movie Ghajini is all sat to release on Christmas Day.
His eight pack look is become very laudable everywhere. It is very easy to appreciate eight pack body but do we know how this task was completed by Aamir. This process was very rigorous and painful. It just shows what man can make of himself once mind is conditioned to accept the pain, body punishment, of sustained, rigorous physical training.

His workout was cycle of tree days. On Monday he did chest and back, Tuesday he work on arms and Wednesday he exercised shoulders and legs and repeat the cycle. This include cardio everyday between half hour to an hour. And abs, to core muscle and get the pack. The day he felt good he pushes himself more. There was no time to think because he screaming in pain. His diet was challenging that supplemented his body.

It was balance diet, one third fat, one third carbo. One third protein but normal
food roties, sabzis, chicken, 16 egg white, fruit and 4 lit of water, all in tree spoons of oil. His Diet changes every month. In the last week he cut down salts and last tree days took himself on dehydration by having one glass of water a day this cut down last bit of fat. So body looks lean.

This efforts are fantabulous and really milestone achieving. For while forget about the abbs-body it gives us well-fitness.
So, take time from your life for you to work on it and make up mental make up for your six-pack body.( I am also thinking on it & made my mind for the same).
Dont think on it just do it.

One Night @ the call center………………

Hi,

I intentionally seatback to narrate a book review on Chetan Bhagat’s One night @ call center, and found out the reason why New York Times called him the ‘biggest-selling English-language novelist in India’s history. The story started with 6 employees of Call Center located at Delhi. How their life took a tern and certain flash back like in the movies all around the world. How they meet with accident and there by GOD. GOD prescribe them Four things a person need for success..
1…a medium amount of intelligence.
2…bit of imagination.
3…self confidence.
4…failure.

When we start doubting our self and that is when our confidence goes.
When we taste failure we don’t have fear. We can take risk more easily. And Then we don’t want to snuggle in our comfort zone anymore- we are ready to fly. And success is all about flying not snuggling.

At end of story Chetan has mention i) I can do whatever I really want. ii) God is always with me iii) there is no such thing as loser after all.
Really it was great experience of reading this novel. Please read it …..

HR......Campus....

Hi Everyone,

Ohhoooo…
Campus….. Campus…… Campus.......................,
Being an HR person Finally, I practically come to know what campus recruitment is, I have read lots of articles and books about campus recruitment. ( It is external source of recruitment method, we would have fresh, young and innovative blood with us, less cost consuming source Bla.. bla……bla….)

I have visited the campus of DAIICT, Ghandhinagar(Gujarath), Its well established esteemed institute in Gujarath.
We can clearly saw the enthusiasm on faces of students. Every one try to look fit for an organization. It is really difficult to find out talents among talented students,

At same time pain, of recession was reflected on their faces... As we know most of the organization freezing their Hiring out-look, Reducing there man power.

I try to convey them we are the learning organization. & these students who will join us will have great learning opportunities with us after all learning quotient of talented student is always high. Their zeal is only satisfied if they find their job gives them new learning. I think for any campus, our PPT should be strong enough to generate the high no. candidate. Campus is chance to be Brand employer. HR person is ambassador who represent the organization in great manner.

During PPT , I had explained student about recession, what are the impacts on our organization.( I gives them the references article published in leading national news paper about MIF and recession).
We conducted the written test and short listed the candidates and called for the next phase of recruitment i.e. field visit and final interview.
Finally first phase of our campus recruitment is finished now…
At evening we picked up our flight and back to pavilion…..

Bye....

HR issue.....................

Hi,

For HR professionals the following article is highly rated to read, during period of recession adding more trouble to business of  IT, at the same time laws should not be violated or made more flexible in the global village for the sake of survival.
IT-BPO union to file PIL against 'extended' working hours
November 26, 2008 09:20 IST sources http://www.rediffmail.com/

The Indian arm of the Union for Information & Technology Enabled Services is planning to file a public interest litigation against the alleged 'arbitrary policy' of many Indian and multinational IT/ITeS firms in India who have, for the past two months, reportedly been enforcing longer working hours that violate the daily eight-hour working mandate of the Indian Factories Act, 1948.
UNITES, the country's first union in the IT-BPO sector, is affiliated to the Indian National Trade Union Congress. It claims to have around 10 per cent of the total IT-BPO workforce of 2 million as members, and said the numbers have been dramatically rising over the last two months on the back of lay-offs in the sector. The union is also part of Union Network International, which has over 16 million workers in 13 different sectors from 163 countries.
IT firms, on their part, insist that the Act is not being violated since IT workers have to work for 48 hours a week - eight hours daily for six days. However, since most IT firms have a five-day working week, they work longer hours, hence the misconception.
But some IT-BPO employees and UNITES are not buying the story. "The labour law in India allows an eight-hour working day, whereas in most IT companies in India people are involuntarily working for over 12 hours daily," R Karthik Shekhar, UNITES' secretary general for India told Business Standard.
He added that the increase of daily working hours from eight to almost 10 hours by Indian and multinational companies officially is "a double standard by the IT firms, who, on the one hand are firing people saying they are not getting enough work, and on the other hand, forcing employees to work more since they are getting more work".
He said UNITES has requested industry body Nasscom to step in to clarify the stance.
The IT sector in India was once the torchbearer of many best HR practices, including flexi-office hours.
However, the situation has changed on the back of a slowing economy. Global IT services firm Accenture, for instance, is reportedly planning to increase working hours by almost an hour with effect from January 1 next year. , India's second-largest IT exporter, too, has asked its employees' to strictly abide by the duty hours that the company has fixed as 9.15 hours a day on all working days. Wipro also has stipulated 9.5 hours working hours a day, and is becoming much stricter in terms of timing.
On condition of anonymity, a team leader working with vCustomer, said: "In call centres people are used to long working hours. During peak season (December-January), they work even 14 hours a day. But now due to the ongoing crisis, expectation levels are very high. Performance is being monitored frequently."
A software engineer with Satyam Computers, Hyderabad, added: "Earlier we could extend our project deliveries by a day or two. Now the management has mandated to deliver by the deadline otherwise it will be marked on performance sheet. Our performance is being evaluated every week. This was a norm from earlier times, but now the management is taking it seriously."
An engineer from Orange (which does IT and BPO support for the telecom major), concurred, "Besides the long working hours, cost cutting measures are worrying us, and the company has started ferrying seven people in a cab against five earlier."
An account manager placed with Barclays in Noida, said "The insecurity level is very high. Quality parameters have been raised and everything is monitored very closely, they are marking us down wherever they can."
Shekhar alleges that most IT firms do not display a "standing order" (regarding the eight-hour duty), which is certified by the labour department, on a notice board at the entrance of every firm. Instead, they have the order posted on the company's Intranet.
"I believe stressing on increased input is always a mistake - the industry needs to focus on more productivity and value creation on the output side," said Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman, Nasscom, when contacted. He, however, did not comment on whether Nasscom would be working on fixing a limit on daily working hours for companies.
"The IT industry in India still follows the best practices it had introduced earlier. But this does not mean employees will work less. If they are being asked to stick to duty hours, this will increase the productivity," explained Infosys Technologies HR head TV Mohandas Pai.
"Besides," he added, "they are also being paid well to work hard. These are difficult times and if they don't work hard then there will not be any industry left in coming days."

World is too small and circular……………..

Hi,

Its too refreshing and energizing after returning from two days leave, after all attending cousin brothers marriage was giving me chance to meet and mix with family and relatives, it was a giving me a great pleasures. Moments like this are very less and countable in life. And living last in memories of life. I want to share with you what great thing happen to me.

I had started my journey on 21st Nov. I woke up early in the morning. The sky was overcastted with fog; this seems to be in heaven. Every were you would found Fog…fog…fog and fog . I considered I have built a home at clouds. I should not say Agra is city but cluster of clouds at sky.. “Ooo… my God what great creation of nature…I am quite sure that Taj.. might not be visible from too small distance also. I thought I am exploring the Secrets of Nature.”

I made my self hurry to reached at Railway station for a my miss-consideration of missing the train. But as usual train was delayed. I was confused why railways always consider natural phenomenon(fog) as natural calamities. Why can’t we made our system to be more friendly with nature and allow every one to explore the glory of nature. If we can reach to moon then we can make our system strong enough for the same.

Finally, I picked up the train 2 hrs late. Panjab mail is great train to travel. my fortune is great, after continue fallow up of TC uncle for an about 2 hrs I got my birth confirmed.
While following TC uncle I have found my childhood friend. Our destination was our home town but boarding station was different. He was traveling from Bhatinda while I am from Agra. As HR person I though “in organization different department and different personnel are directed to reach on one particular destination that is nothing but Vision and mission.”

My self and my childhood friend, at same time show ticket to TC uncle. I amazingly ask him ‘Hay…. you are going to my place?’ After some time, he also got birth which was lower to my birth. We evolved in deep discussion; He is currently working with Indian Army.
I forgot the face of my childhood friend after all, after 15-16 years our baby faces turning into adult one. I do have very thin and unclear picture into mind, but did not realized the he is little champ. He told me his name and that was an only option which I had to realize that he is my childhood friend.
We shared our childhood stories with each other. Ones again it was the time to became child again. We reached our destination. But for a whole night mind was giggling with this great moment, I don’t know when I will meet with him again… But….Friend I realized that World is too small and circular…. We meet each other to meet again and again…….
