Swati.
It was nostalgic moment to have Paanki again. Almost its been more than 10 years ago I happened to visit Swati restaurant that serves local Gujrati cousins along with Prof. Biju Vaarki.
What I gathers from my fermented memory, Paanki is costal Gujrati delicious dish steamed in banana leaf. It got the aroma of leaf straight into the batter. It serve with a delicious chutney. Swati attracts lot of corporate tourist in city of Ahmedabad. I also heard that they have another branch in city of Mumbai.
Another dish I tantalized this time Undhio. Its regional special delicacy of Surat. The word Undhio means upside down. Its cooked underground by providing heat from the top to bottom. It prepared from mix of many vegetables and best to served with Rotlaa a kind of bread.
Happy to visit Swati Restaurant in order to discover more delicious Gujrati dishes.

Where all egos get washed...
Mumbai's Dhobi Ghat is 140 years old establishment, built by British empire in order to serve the English people with the help of 50 Washermen. Today around 200 families are engaged in laundry business for their livelihood. Dhobi Ghat was honored with the 'world's largest open air laundry' by genius books in the year 2013. The place served as one of the tourist destination in Mumbai. Situated on prominent location of South Mumbai adjacent to Mahalaxmi Suburban railway station. Domestic and international tourist visit this place in order to explore the complexities of the laundry business. Where thousands of clothes washed everyday, despite of this, strong sorting mechanism helps them to deliver the cleaned clothes to the exact owner.
Another Dhabighat buili in 1890 by British government established at Kolkata and few other locationsFew bollywood movies were shooted at this location to named it is Munna Bhai MMBS and Dhobighat.
I am intrigued by the work done by fellow Dhobis and their families. Despite of myriad farrago of cloths wear by people of various egos are washed at this location and giving us and unique opportunity to let's start the life without any egos and grudges..every day....
Keep traveling and keep rediscovering!
