The King's Harvest - An Open-and Shut Case (part-2)

Like the first novella The King’s Harvest, An Open-and-Shut Case is a good read.

The novella talk about women who had been exposed to torturous domestic violence. Set in Sikkim, the story of Kamala and her two adorable daughters will keep you spellbound throughout all pages.

The author has once again proven his mettle. She has gotten rid of her agony by way of taking the life of her demonic husband and how life changes afterwards. The whole journey is narrated in a week’s span. The evening of New Year celebration turned into her emancipation and the subsequent week helped her to get freedom. How empathy works? How the police officials helped her in subtle ways.

You can also eyewitness the socio-economic aspect of the region through various characters played in the novella.

Highly recommended for readers to read The King’s Harvest by Chetan Raj Shrestha.

Keep reading, keep rediscovering!

My Photograph - Kanchenjunga

Another frame from the mighty Kanchenjunga!

This photograph clicked by me at Gangtok, Sikkim has been published in NDTV.

It was a very special and famous moment, when the discussion around scaling Kanchenjunga came into the national spotlight. Good to see my click from Sikkim becoming part of that important conversation.

Happy to see it covered in NDTV.
