Flowery Journey
Flowery Journey
This is the most beautiful and flowery railway station I have ever seen. It was the beginning of summers, springs just wanted to end the glory. I was traveling from my source to destination. A unique and colorful view of this station gave the soothing effect to my eyes. Bougainvillea flower of various hues blooming in a youthful ways.
Sometimes in the middle of your journey you find beautiful places, but we miss the view and admire the marvelous beauty in order to reach the destination.

The Westside Story(2021)
The Westside Story(2021)
A good watch and probably the toughest contender for Oscars 2022 which will be revealed in this month itself. It's adaptation of classic movie with same title.
Steven Spielberg given his magical touch in direction the screenplay. This is his first movie on musical canvas. And he has proven his assets in this genre also. Love at first sight strikes when Tony abd Maria meet first time at dance party. Both belong to rival groups who tried to prove their control on streets.
This movie may left you with teary eyes. I would recommend you all to watch this no mid of the road movie. Cinematography, choreography and music will keep you spellbound during the screening. Just watched it and recommend to watch it

Radio
Radio
'Good Morning, This is All India Radio, and you are listening to the morning news'. These were and are the most sonorous words our ears used to enjoy a lot. The camaraderie between our parent/grandparents and the radio gave us the sense of deep engagement.
Today is World Radio Day, In year 2012, United Nations decided to raise greater awareness among the public and media regarding the importance of radio and encourage decision-makers to establish and provide access to information through the radio as well as to enhance networking and cooperations broadcasters.
The millennials will always keep Radios in their memories as one of the paraphernalia of information and entertainment. Our home has seen the evolution of radio transmitters from 1960 to this day. My father has travelled time and space along with radios in the last 70 years. Today he is enjoying the classic melodies on the eve of his 70th birthday. For him, radio(location radio stations) acted as a messenger to get information about his native place during his sojourn in various parts of India. From this news, he conducted the well-being of his people and place.
Radio is one of the trusted media in the world for providing trusted and unique ways of journalism
for more than a century. Be it a unique way of playing songs or cricket commentary, it has served the real purpose of reaching out to people in the excluded catalogue.
All India Radio is also known as Akashvani airing since 1936 as India's national public radio broadcaster having 420 radio stations spread across the country. All India Radio celebrates cultural diversity covering 99.19 % population, 92% area, 23 languages and 179 dilects.
Broadcasting in India began in 1923 during British Raj, with the establishment of Indian Broadcasting Company which was authorized to operate two stations in Bombay and Culcutta in 1927. The government took over this company on an experimental basis for two years and permanently in 1932. Later, it became, All India Radio in the year 1936.
Radio is the medium to communicate information to the masses, be it joy or sorrow. With the latest technology at our disposal, radio is losing its essence & glory and obliterating further on a great scale. We all can clearly see the redundancy.

Radios reached out to every inch and breadth of the country. For me, radio was access to cricket matches that were not aired on television, be it domestic or international.
