The Deepor Beel - The Deep Thought

The Deepor Beel

It is such a nice place to visit. I happened to visit this place in Monsoon's of year 2018. Although it hosts many aquatic birds but the pick season to visit the place in month of January or February when one can have a glance of myriad varieties of migrated birds.

It is around 23 km away from Guwahati the gateway of North East. It takes almost 40 minutes to reach the destination.

Beepor Beel is the very small river that forms a freshwater lake and confluences with Brahmaputra river. The Deepor Beel having no prominent flow except south hills flows water in monsoon.
One can take long morning walk to breath fresh air. And the best place for cycling doyens.

The mesmerizing glance of city and couple of rail bridges on rail track enhances the scenery. It was wonderful time spent in such scenery.

You walk, you breathe, you excel and you live……

Happy to help visitors in case any guidance required.

Train to Pakistan and Train from Pakistan.

Train to Pakistan and Train from Pakistan.

I am deeply enlightened while reading 1956's  novel called 'Train to Pakistan' by Khushwant Singh.
The monsoon of 1947 was the bloodiest monsoon India had ever observed. With greet of independence we also observed agony of partition. Partition of one nation; into two separate entities, were aligned on the basis of communal foundation.

Khushwant Singhs nations made the vivid picture of the separations of hearts from their bodies and souls. The agonized fables has been portraited very well in the form of words arrangement and rearrangements. This has kept me spellbound in this novel. Author has provided his independent narration for each role and each & every role is crucial in the novel.

Train to Pakisthan
Khushwant Singh has started following his mantle since his journey has began with one of the greatest novel in Indian history. Khushwant Singh did justice to all the characters appear in this novel.

The story sets in just after India has got freedom from British Raj with complementary gift of separation. A newly form nation called Pakistan, were the biggest denouncing act of by Briton. And
it left people of adjoining borders  where. Pakistan was considered as safe heavens for Muslims and India were assumed safe territories for rest communities resided since ages. A farrago of everything is explained in very soothing ways. Complexity of love, lust, nature, religion were narrated in very simple forms without any moldings. It is agonized marvelous story of getting homeless over a night and fall into unknown territory. Partition was the penance of unknown sins.

A train from Pakistani arrived with dead bodies of people and other train from India departed with parcels of ancestral love, care, memories and more importantly grief. A grief that will never be counsel for next few generations. People breathed the air of despondency, which thereby observed in blood streams and became the part of DNA ultimately. What I learnt is providing equal justice to all the characters present in writing as well as in our life.

Reading is so important to enlighten your understanding of not all but certain parts of partition.

Very nice reading!

Success

As day goes behind, sun sets, I recalled the journey of interaction with people to whom I met and discussed particular or specific things weather it was personal or professional, it hardly matters or concerned area for anyone.

There are set of people who believes, things will be aligned for attaining their dreams, their goals. They just dreamed it and left rest things to fortune or Divine interventions. They just start something and left doing nothing. The billion dollars question remains the same. ‘What would be the destiny of such people?'. Attainable or lost in the memory of times reliability. They keep there faith with God.

And there are other source of people who believes that dream and goal needs blood and sweat. Hardwork, consistent approaches, ability to digest failures are not just bare words for them. Sun will set as earthy phenomenon, and for them sun will never set. They are pursuing their path like every moves is giving them triumph. They believes hardwork, they believe that through hardwork one can change the direction of river, can change the flow air, can crack the mountain for path. They keep there faith in god.

They are the ultimate combination of visionary and doer. Their Dreams doesn't allow them to sleep. Success is not accidental factor for them. World is merely shining just because of them.

I salute them for their indomitable spirit and enjoying their company in my journey towards destination.

What really matters...........

What really matters...........

I got an opportunity to read the news on how outsourced government teacher in some remote village of Chhattisgarh is trying at his level best to innovate the field of agriculture. His effort despite odd in government mechanism are undoubtedly admirable.

I have been thinking about what really matters in a job. A job which we perform as part our livelihood, a job which really keeps us spellbound, and a lot many.

I was working with one of the leading skill development company India where I have recruited hundreds of teachers and trained them on training skills for vocational subjects like retail, agriculture, hospitality and etc. These skills are subjected to enhance the livelihood of  thousands of students of government schools where they were never had an opportunity earlier to opt for the career choices of their interests.

The news cutting gave me an opportunity of self satisfaction of attaining the outcome of my job. The job of recruiting right set of people and training them with right set of required skills so that they become effective in performing their duties with utmost satisfaction. Although it was challenging to attract people for a job which is unconventional in nature.

Nobody thought of the becoming a teacher in government schools with their professional qualification, its kind of changing the track from the aspirations. People were also though of the risk factor in their career to become a teacher. But, what I all  started with a with impact of a job, at given time of time, job may not sounds like win-win scenario in life, but it all got the impact of your efforts in future time. 'The Impact' were the slogan to recruit people, to identify the right, to train the right, and to live 'the impact'.

The point, I am trying to highlight is the impact of once job on the society. Like illustrated above We all have raison d'etre. Each one of our task irrespective of corporation, profile etc have reasons to survive, reason for existence. At prima facie it is hard to view the importance of our day to day tasks. But in future course of action there is reaction for our actions which in tern bound to create mammoth effect on environment in which we serve.

Impact of once job is at core whenever we are trying to sell the job to perspective candidate. Profit and return on investment has lost its shine, the millennials want to see impact. Its is not that much of hard to find out the impact of what we do. Will feature the ways to found out the impact of job in upcoming blogs separately but certainly I am happy to see the impact of my job on society.

Wish you a very happy new year.

Spirit

Just finished the reading of More Than Human by Bill Protzmann. Spirit for human being is more than life. it's more lifeness. Throughout the process of evolution the word spiritual practice might have evolved.
The word spirituality has nothing to do with any religion. We all are observing in our day to day life one or many more spiritual practices. Before getting into additional details let me tell you the spirit from which we derived concept of spiritual practice.
The wold spirit which has only single connotation viz the non physical living part in you that makes you lively, makes you energies and make you to sustain in hard times. Are you with me.....Alright, the practices which makes you more energize and compelling are spiritual practices.

There could be individual or organisational spiritual practices. Just saying thank you indicate the spiritual practice of appreciation. One has to identify the best spiritual practices and worst spiritual practices and practice the same for further betterment. Once mature in the skills of practicing spiritual practices this will help us to achieve the objective and build the personal as well as individual culture.

Nice book. Good Reading.
